Our church had a 4th of July concert on the lawn and, indeed, it was a hot summer night. I was a lot of fun; fun to sing and play great music together. Bekah and I were blessed to be able to also share three songs that we had written. Happy 4th!
Our family exists to glorify God and give Him praise. We want to know Him more, and worship Him more, and teach our kids about His awesome deeds. We homeschool our 7-year-old, and our 5-year-old does a lot with his sister's school too. Our 2.5-year-old stirs up trouble and makes us laugh and cry all at the same time. Dad goes to work and Mom stays home, but we hope to "bring Daddy home" at some point. We write songs and play music together to process life and sing about His faithfulness, and we look to make true community in the Spirit, starting with our family and we pray, expanding to others. We are all cowboys and cowgirls, just trying to make our way in "the big city," dreaming of "our land" and "our farm" and whatever God wants to do in us and through us for His glorious name.
